Trichocereus bridgesii ‘SS02’ – 20cm cutting from this plant

SS02 refers to a specific clone that was introduced for cultivation by Ben Kamm and his nursery, Sacred Succulents. This clone belongs to the Trichocereus bridgesii species and has shorter spines compared to others of its kind. It has gained a reputation for giving rise to astonishing offspring. The resulting hybrids from this plant display unique characteristics that distinguish them from the typical Bridgesii variety.

Dense candelabra stands to 16´tall. Blue/green frosted stems up to 5″ in diameter with 5 – 7 ribs. Each areole bears 2 – 4 central spines up to 1.5″ long. White nocturnal flowers. The new growth on old stemps is often spineless. A distinct form of Trichocereus bridgesii. Cold hardy to 25° Fahrenheit.
